Social Studies:

Lesson 3 Changing Our Environment- Read  pages 132 to 135. Be ready to discuss the questions that appear in the lesson.

Lesson 4 Connecting Communities - As you read pages 138 to 141, think about how transportation and communication have changed over time. Make a chart to compare and contrast ways of transportation and communication of long ago and today.  Be ready to share your chart when we meet.

 

Science:

Lesson Four How Does Matter Change? - Read pages 88-89.  Can ashes be changed back into wood? Write your response. Be ready to share your answer. 

Reversible Changes - Read pages 90-91 and write about how the lemonade changes in each picture.  Do the math problem on page 92.  What do you think would happen to milk if you put it in the freezer overnight? Be ready to discuss your answers.
