Dear Parents,

Spring is here and we are learning about the change in weather and what we wear.   We are also learning about living and non-living things.  Your child learned that Living things need to be cared for, and will need water, food and/or the sun to grow.  Non-living things are machines and toys.  

As part of our Spring activity, children can create their favorite flower using any materials at home, please no food items like pasta, rice or seeds.  Please also encourage your child to talk about the weather and as another family activity, you can make clouds with a rainbow.  This is a great opportunity to review colors and discuss and identify all the colors around them.  Both the flowers and rainbow clouds are due back on Wednesday, April 15

Estimados padres de familia,
La primavera ha llegado y estamos aprendiendo sobre el cambio en el clima y lo que llevamos puesto. También estamos aprendiendo acerca de la vida y no vivos. Su hijo se enteró de que los seres vivos necesitan ser atendidos, y necesitarán agua, alimentos y / o el sol para crecer. Las cosas no vivientes son máquinas y juguetes.
Como parte de nuestra actividad de primavera, los niños pueden crear su flor favorita usando cualquier material en el hogar, por favor no los alimentos como pasta, arroz o semillas. Por favor anime a su hijo a hablar del tiempo y como una actividad más de la familia, puede hacer que las nubes con un arco iris.  Esta es una gran oportunidad para revisar los colores y discutir e identificar todos los colores a su alrededor. Todas las flores y arco iris nubes se deben volver el Miercoles, 15 de Abril.
