Welcome to the 2020-2021 academic school year at Irvington High School! This year will be full of many challenges and adventures as we begin our year remotely and move our way back into the classroom. There will be a lot of changes, but we will work together to communicate all the changes that come our way. Google classroom will be the lifeline that keeps us all on the same page but as it is a virtual tool (and can't take the place of chatting in person) it is imperative that you ask questions when you need things clarified!. We will learn a variety of biological concepts such as ecology, cells, genetics, evolution and more! It is an intense course that involves a great deal of note taking , reading comprehension, ability to decipher information from graphs/tables/charts, experiments & labs, and a variety of assignments. When you leave this class in June you will learn a TON of information and gain a variety of life skills that will benefit you in future endeavors.
