Welcome All Junior Scientists

Science is a way of exploring and most importantly a process for gaining knowledge. This is opening ones eyes and understanding the world in which we exist. The class will place an emphasis on understanding and using skills.

You should be active learners in my class. I feel it is not enough for you to read about science; you must be active with science. You should observe, question, ponder and test hypotheses, analyze data, report, and evaluate your data. You will be asked to not only do science but also use such things as art, English, Math and all the other subjects you study each day in your science class. This should be a hands–on, active, and challenging experience.

"Be very, very careful what you put into that head, because you'll never, ever get it out."
