                 Classroom Expectations:

1. Respect - Students are expected to show respect toward other people and property at all times. Physical or verbal disrespect will not be tolerated and detention may be assigned depending on the offense.

2. Preparation - Students are expected to come to class prepared with the materials they will need to work during class. (For example: chromebook, pen, binder/paper, assignments.) Since students have designated times to exchange belongings at their lockers, they will not be permitted to go during class. Consistent "forgetting" of materials will result in lower class participation grades.

3. Responsibility - Middle School students are expected to demonstarte the type of responsibility of a young adult about to enter high school. Students are responsible for writing down their own homework, remembering to bring assignments and other materials to class, studying the notes taken in class etc. Students do not need to be reminded of these necessary steps for success at this point in their academic careers. It is a student's responsibility to take advantage of the few extra credit opportunities offered and to come to a teacher for extra help if necessary.
