# Quadratic Function - Transformation Project

You will create a project that describes and demonstrates the quadratic functions we have studied. You will create your own "equations " of quadratic functions. Project may be in the form of a poster/preferred/ or a scrapbook.

**DUE DATE: November 14, 2022(Late projects will be accepted - grade 10 points off)**

**Guidelines**

**Draw following Quadratic Functions.**

**Cover **

**Parent Function/ write equation, graph solid bold line/.**

Write down the domain( interval notation), the range(interval notation), x-intercepts, y-intercept, table of values, end behavior. Graphs(precision of graphing will be graded). Vertex, axis of symmetry, x-intercepts, y-intercept should be marked on the graph.

**First transformed function.**

**Draw the parent function/dashed line -pencil or light marker/.**

**Draw a Quadratic Function - shifted right _?_ units/ write equation in vertex and standard form, graph- solid bold line-dark color marker/.**

**Grading - This will be recorded as a Quiz grade for the MP 1**

- Following Directions -10 points
- Mathematical Correctness of Transformations and Descriptions - 60 points
- Visual Appeal (use of color, neatness, etc.) - 30 points

The project should be in the form of a poster board or a scrapbook.
