Needed Materials 

 

Beside your instrument you will need some other supplies.  Most of these have either come with your rental or were offered by the vendors.

 

- All 5th grade woodwind and brass students will need the book Standard of Excellence book 1 for your instrument

 

- Percussion students willbe using the Alfred’s Snare Drum Method 

 

- Flutes will need a handkerchief to use with the cleaning rod

 

- Clarinets and Saxophones will need extra reeds, a reed guard, cork grease, a mouthpiece brush, and a cleaning cloth

 

- Trumpet, Baritone, and Trombones will need valve oil and a mouthpiece brush

 

- All students should consider purchasing a fold up music stand for practicing at home
