Grading:
- All grades are based on a point system.
- Tests will be assigned the highest points. There will be a test after each chapter.
- Quizzes will be assigned smaller point values.
- Homework checks are 5 pts. (Usually)
- Quick search, labs, current events and other written work will be assigned point values depending on length.
- We will follow the middle school grading policy regarding late or missing work.
- Goals for the year:
- Increase organizational and study habits
- Develop critical thinking skills.
- Learn through hands on activities.
- Cultivate good writing skills.
Extra Help
- During Academic Supplement - Tuesday and Thursday
- Available during lunch and after school. Please let me know ahead of time.
