Welcome to Kindergarten!
I'm so excited to begin a year filled with learning and fun, I know this year is not how we expected it, but we will make the best of this situation together! First, let me introduce myself. My name is Nicole Decker and I have been teaching for eleven years. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This will be my eighth year teaching Kindergarten and I previously taught second grade for three years. I love to learn, therefore, I love to teach! I believe that every child has the potential to be whatever they would like to be.
In my spare time I like to relax with my family and our three dogs. I also enjoy taking pictures and traveling to new places. I love reading, baking, and the beach. I am originally from New York and moved to Florida during high school. I do miss my family and some of the seasons up North, but it's really great to have summer all year long!
I am looking forward to a successful year with your child and you! I have an open door policy, I believe that communication between home and school is VERY important, please be sure to email/write/call me using the information below at any time! Make sure to check back often as there will be a lot of information posted here. Looking forward to a great year!
