“Our task today is to provide an education

for the kinds of kids we have,

not the kind of kids we used to have, or want to have,

or the kids that exist in our dreams.”

About Me:
Mrs. Reynolds is looking forward to her 27th year at Essex Fells School. She began her professional teaching career at EFS upon graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology from The College of New Jersey in 1999. She has obtained two Master's degrees, as well.  Her first field of study at Rutgers University Graduate School of Education was in Reading. She then focused on Educational Leadership at Montclair State University.  After 17 years as a classroom teacher in the 1st, 4th, and 3rd Grades, she now acts as the Lead Teacher and Coordinator of I&RS/504. Mrs. Reynolds also provides enrichment support and instruction and acts as one of the Student Council advisors. Mrs. Reynolds can be found in any classroom depending on the day! Outside of school, Mrs. Reynolds loves spending time with her husband, Hugh, and their seventh grader, Cole. Whether they are fishing, snowboarding, or relaxing on a beach, they enjoy being in the great outdoors.
