Welcome! I am Mrs. Fortin and I will be your child's LEAP teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Your child will be with me for the subjects of Reading, Writing and Math. We incorporate mutlisensory lessons and activities to keep students engaged, while ensuring students learn at their own individual level. I update this website monthly, so I encourage you to check back frequently for details of concepts we are working on and important messages.
Join our Class Dojo page so you can see what we're doing in class and get important announcements! I will be sending home a clink with each student that is not connected.
Please check student backpacks and Homework folders nightly for important papers that may need to be returned. Practicing reading and basic math facts at home are extremely important. These concepts should be practiced nightly.
Students will have homework most nights Monday-Thursday.
