Hillside PE Grading System

 

A maximum of 10 points can be earned each day, 30 points per week.  At the conclusion of the semester, the accumulated points earned will be divided by the number of days in attendance.  The student will only receive points for the days he/she is present. No penalty is assessed for absences, medicals, guidance, or school activities.  The daily points are broken down as follows;  All Students are required to join the PE Google Classroom. (Students were invited prior to the new school year 2024-25)  

 

 

PE Grading

The students will be graded daily in the following categories;

 

	Appropriate Clothes Sneakers	Completed Warm-ups	Following Directions	Participation	Sportsmanship Respect
Explanation	Students wear clothes to PE class that does not inhibit their ability to participate. Students are also expected to wear sneakers.	Students are expected to complete the warm-ups with correct form.	Students are expected to follow directions throughout the entire class period.	Students are expected to participate to the best of their ability throughout the entire class period	Students will be respectful & demonstrate good sportsmanship towards their classmates & teachers.

*Students may have various assessments on the PE Google Classroom periodically throughout the year.
