About Mrs. Savage
My name is Rachel Savage and I am originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, but have lived in New Jersey for the last 15 years. I received both my Bachelors (1999) and Masters (2005) degrees in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Go Pitt!
I have been teaching in the Little Egg Harbor Township School District since 2002. Over the last 15 years I have worn many hats: floating reading support teacher, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade classroom teacher.
I have been married for 12 years to my husband; Art, and we have 2 children; Sophia and Aidan, and 2 dogs; Rocky and Moose. Sophia is 9 years old and Aidan is 7.
I love teaching and learning. I enjoy photography, gardening, running and fitness, and spending time with friends and family. Being a full time wife, mommy, and teacher is a demanding role, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
I am currently enrolled in the Emints Comprehensive Course.
