Student grading is very simple in my class. Students are expected to make their best effort in completing their given assignments. Students are graded as individuals since some students ’ skill levels vary . Therefore , students are given a check if an assignment is completed with maximum effort or a zero if no effort is given. If students receive a zero , they have the option to finish the assignment at any time during the marking period. By the end of the marking period , students will have been given between 15-20 assignments. If all are completed , a student will receive an A+ . Grades will decrease depending on how many zeros a student has received.
