Requirements & Information

Dear Parent or Guardian,

          Please have you child wear or bring sneakers to school on Health and Physical Education days.  Please DO NOT wear boots, sandals or dress shoes to the gym.  Clothing suitable for play should be worn to school on Physical Education days.  Students are excused on school picture day and other special occasions.  Girls should wear shorts under dresses or skirts.  Please do not bring a change of clothes as there is no appropriate place to change.

          If your child is to be excused medically from Physical Education, please send a note from your doctor to our school nurse explaining the temporary excuse and how long your child will be excused for.  A copy will be forwarded to the Physical Education office.

Physical Education Grading

33%-Prepared: Wearing sneakers and NO Bulky Jewelry

33%-Participation:  Participate in ALL P.E. Activities

34%-Sportsmanship:  Students should be courteous & respectful

to each other and to staff members at all times.
