My name is Jeanne Olivier. This school year I will be teaching 3rd grade at Parks Primary. I have been teaching in Parks since 2000 and attended Parks Primary as a student MANY years ago. I have taught 1st grade (16 years), 3rd grade (6 years), and 4th grade (1 year).
I earned a B.A. from LSU in 1998. I completed the Louisiana Alternative Teacher Education Program in 2003 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
I am married to Cy Olivier and we have three children - Emile (19), Grace (15), and Andre (9). When I'm not at school, chances are I'm spending time with them!
Your child's education is very important to me. Let's work together to ensure that he or she is successful. By taking the time to go over homework with your child each night you are reinforcing the skills taught daily in class.
