Please contact me via email, [email protected]. I check it more than twice daily. If your child needs help with any subject matter, I can send specific notes, and practice that will help him or her understand content at a higher level.

Clear Expectations for all Mathematical Courses Taught by Wanda J. Milliman

 

  1. Daily bell ringers, to get our engines started. Graded quizzes immediately after short lessons on new content or review material.
  2. Daily homework assigned and checked for correctness.
  3. Biweekly academic vocabulary activities, including journaling and reading strategies. (looking at journals of past students, as well as power points, evaluating for correctness and making individual journals clear, concise, and to the point)
  4. Weekly tests on all content learned.
  5. ACT, PSAT, and other standardized test taking activities for individual enrichment; as well as research time given to find scholarship opportunities.
  6. Weekly Constructed Response problems to develop enthusiasm and techniques to solve difficult math puzzles and problems.

20% Bell Ringer, AVC Activities and Constructed Responses as well as Quizzes

75% Tests

5% of grade comes from the weeks homework average and participation

 

Final for every course, 20% of semester grade (Tests 55%, 20% BR, AVC, Quiz, 5% Participation and Homework)
