Hi!
My name is Wanda Milliman, and I am a highly qualified teacher of high school mathematics who is excited to lead you along the path of exhilaration and discovery. If I were to use just two words to describe myself to you, it would be "Professional Student." I truly believe in life-long learning, so I am ready for you to teach me something. That means if you have an idea on how to work any problem differently, shoot me an email and let me know. This is my twentieth year teaching in Iberia Parish, and my students never fail to show me something new every single year. I am the luckiest person alive. Where else can you play with problems and work mathematical calculations that cover an entire board? I also believe in extra-curricular activities and support the involvement of clubs and sports.
I have a wonderful husband, two children a beautiful daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. My son Bradley, who is 31, works at PHI as a Computer Programmer here in New Iberia. He plans on going back and getting his Masters in Computer Programming. Every time I catch him on his PS3, he tells me he is doing his homework. He has started his business with Sony and is developing video games. My little girl, Brandy, is 24 and teaches Art to middle school students at IMS. She graduated ULL as the Most Oustanding Graduate in the College of Education. Brandy is Miss Iberia LXXIV. Ember is my daughter-in-law. She is from Buras, Louisiana and moved here when Katrina hit. She graduated from NISH and ULL and is in accounting and management. My granddaughter is almost five. She has bright red hair and her name is Aurora. When she enters a room, it is somehow much brighter. My new grandson is adoreable, just now goo goo and gaa gahing, which is a real thing!!
Mathematic courses are very important in your education. Every industry in America needs problem solvers, and I try to enrich your skills through the use of high yield technology strategies. So, feel free to contact me if you need anything at all. You may email me at any time. In fact, that is the best way to reach me, and you will have an electronic copy of questions and replies. I will check my email at least twice a day, every day. If you need to speak with me, you may call the school. Parents are always free to come in and observe the classroom. I love what I do, so never feel you are bothering me.
I look forward to working with all of you. Have a fabulous year.

Too hot outside to do anything, yet nothing to do inside?
Well, here is a way to earn extra knowledge points for next year's PSAT exam as you sit in the shade by the pool.
Do yourself a favor, and work those brain cells rather than boil them in the sun. Grab a pencil, some paper, and a graphing calculator and visit:
