French I Honors/Spanish I

In these courses, students are introduced to the five C's of foreign language learning: communication, culture, connections, comparisons and communities.  Students will learn the fundamental structures of the language by engaging in brief conversations, directed dialogues, and a variety of oral activities.  In addition, short reading passages, aural comprehension, writing activities, and grammar are integral components of the program.  Technology and other sources serve as useful, creative and motivating tools to build language proficiency and cultural understanding.
