Summer Work  2025/2026

 

 

All students in incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grades will complete a summer assignment.  

 

 

This year's summer work for literacy will be completing 45 minutes of iReady each week for FIVE weeks and completing AND PASSING TWO  assessments.  You will receive a test grade for this work.  

 

You will be able to choose which 5 weeks you want to complete the work to accommodate vacations, etc.  However, they MUST be completed between June 16th and August 8th.  Anything completed after Aug 8th will not count.   Each week will run beginning on Sunday thru Saturday.  You may choose to do MORE than the required 45 minutes, however, this will not count towards another week.  Each week MUST have at least 45 min.
