2021/2022 School Year
Welcome to Mrs. Martin's 2021/2022 Health Office webpage.
Please feel free to contact me by telephone or email with any concerns regarding your child.
Check back for updates throughout the year!
Imporant:
Please continue to be diligent about monitoring your child for symtpoms of illnesses other than Covid-19. If your child is experiencing sore throat, cough, congestion, nausea, GI upset, fatigue or any other symptom that may affect their ability to perform in school, please keep them home until symptoms resolve, or they have been cleared by a physician to return to school. Our goal is to keep our school as healthy as possible and we need your help to do that.
THANK YOU!
As of March 7, 2022 in accordance with NJDOH guidance, mask wearing will be optional at all Haddon Township schools. Please continue to keep your child home if they are having symptoms of illness and inform your school nurse and attendance secretary of absences for illness. All students and staff are encouraged to continue to wear a mask if they are more comfortable doing so, however it is no longer mandated in the State of NJ and will not be an enforced requirement for entry into the buildings
*masks will still be required for anyone returning from quarantine following a positive diagnosis for COVID
for days 6-10*
Hawkchecker digital symptom sreener will no longer be in use as of 3/7/22. Please continue to be mindful of symptoms of illness and stay home if you are not feeling well.
THANK YOU!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19
COVID VACCINES FOR STUDENTS 5+ yrs old:
The FDA has approved the COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use in
5-17 yr olds. Boosters have also been approved for use in 12-17 yr olds. If you would like to have your child vaccinated, you can make an appointment at your local pharmacy or vaccine pop up site. Call ahead or go online for appointments.
*please check with your pediatrician for any contraindications that may pertain to your child receiving the vaccine*
NJDOH is not REQUIRING students to get vaccinated at this time. This information is provided as a courtesy for those who choose to vaccinate thier child and in no way is meant to influence that personal decision.
If you choose to vaccinate your child, and you would like to send in proof of vaccine, please do so by mailing or bringing in a copy of the vaccine card and your child's records wil be updated. Vaccine status is taken into consideration when determining quarantine time as directed by Camden County DOH. Those who are Up To Date with COVID vaccines and are asymptomatic are not required to quarantine when identified as close contacts.
Thank you!
