Even though this hasn't been a "normal" start to our school year, we still encourage all of our students to participate in writing to Miltie each month!

Welcome back to school! We are so excited for another full-filled school year learning all about Miltie's Challenges & how to help him by giving him some advice.
This year may look a little different but we are going to continue to practice all of Miltie's Character Education Traits together by writing letters & helping him problem solve.

OCTOBER: RESPECT & RESPONSIBILITY
Dear Milltown Mountain Lions,
We made it through the first few weeks of school and I am SO PROUD of all the hard work you have been doing. We practiced what it means to be a team player and I got to read some amazing advice from a bunch of our friends. Keep it up Milltown! October is brand new month where we will be learning all about RESPECT & RESPONSIBILITY!

How can we be responsible for our words & actions during school and even outside of school?!
Remember our 3 school rules? Think about showing respect to yourself, to others, and to the environment over the next few weeks. I’d love to hear some examples of how you practiced this.
I’ve shared a very special story (one of my favorites) that might give us a few more ideas about showing respect & being kind to others. Find a quiet spot, get comfortable, take some deep breaths, and enjoy!
Then, don’t forget to write me a letter with some advice on how to show RESPECT & take RESPONSIBILITY!
