We would love to celebrate your child's birthday in school.  Here is some information to help you.

 

• There will be no food items for birthdays. You may send in something other than an edible treat (pencils, stickers, etc.).
• We have 25 students in our class.
• Your child may choose a book to be donated to our classroom library in honor of his or her birthday. Please gift-wrap the book. The book will be opened in front of the class and a special label with your child's name and birthday will be added to the inside cover. Your child will be remembered for years to come!  If your child would like to they may read the book to the class on their birthday.
• In June, we will have a special celebration in honor of all our summer birthdays! Details to follow.

 

Additionally, some parents like to plan parties for their child outside of school.  We encourage this practice however the policy for our classroom is that we only pass out invitations at school if there is one for every child in the class. If you would like to distribute birthday invitations, but are not inviting the entire class (24 children), you can send in the invitations with the children's names and a stamp on each and we are happy to address and mail them for you.
