Daily Language Arts Homework:
Homework is assigned to reinforce skills we are working on in school, and as review. A few weeks into the school year your child will recieve a "Read Everyday" envelope. The envelope will include a book your child selected and questions you can use for discussion. This envelope should return to school each morning.
Daily Mathematics Homework:
Homework will be assigned nightly and directly related to the topic taught in school. We follow the EnVision curriculum. We will send home a math workbook. Please keep it in a safe location. Refer to the weekly homework sheet to complete each night's assignment. As pages are assigned, they should be torn out of the workbook, completed and sent school.
Homework and projects are designed to provide your child with practice on skills that are being taught in class. Homework is to be completed and checked at home and returned on time. Please make sure your child writes their name on their homework and completes all written work with their own hands.
