Dear Parents,
My name is Miss Sarboukh and I am looking forward to teaching your child! I am very excited about this upcoming school year and I hope you all are too! I would like to take a minute to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a graduate of Rider University, Class of 2014, and I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology with minors in Special Education and Criminal Justice. I have also continued my education and earned a Master's degree in Severe and Multiple Disabilities in June 2020.
This year is going to be a very exciting year! Your children are going to be encouraged, in my classroom, to work as hard as they can so they are able to grow as individuals. I want to make learning as fun as possible for them and with your help and support at home, I know they will get the most out of this year. Students will be encouraged to be as creative as possible and express themselves through different activities, projects, and much more. In my classroom, I try as best as I can to connect subjects and make learning as relevant to the students as possible.
I believe it is extremely important to have a strong line of communication between home and school; without this, students will not have the opportunity to be as successful as they can be. Please visit my district website regularly as I will be updating it with class news, upcoming events, and homework. Please feel free to contact me at any time with concerns or questions you may have. You can reach me through the school district at (908) 231-0230 x303 or through email at [email protected]. I cannot wait to make this year the best it can be, and by working together, I know each student will surpass his and her potential!
Hope you enjoyed your summer! I look forward to meeting you all throughout this wonderful school year!
Sincerely,
Ms. Sarboukh
