About Me
Hello! My name is Nicole Leach and this is my 11th year teaching in the Greenwich Township School District. I graduated from Rowan University in May 2013 and received my Bachelors in English and Elementary Education with a Middle School: ELA (Grades 5-8) certification.
I started in Greenwich Township School District as a long-term substitute at Nehaunsey for one year where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA, and then was officially hired. I then taught 7th grade ELA at NMS for 2 years, and then I taught 5th grade ELA at BSS for 7 and a half years. In January 2024, I moved back to Nehaunsey to teach 6th grade ELA. I'm so excited to be teaching 6th grade ELA and helping my students navigate their first year of middle school!
I was Broad Street's "Teacher of the Year" for the 2017-2018 school year.
Overall, I am excited to continue my teaching career in this district and to be back in the middle school setting! I'm passionate about reading and writing, and my goal is to inspire my students to be lifelong readers and writers. I feel so fortunate because teaching ELA isn't just my career, but it's also my hobby! All students deserve to have excited teachers who are passionate about what they do.
When I'm not teaching, I love being with my family and friends, reading, watching movies and TV shows, and going for long walks.
I am looking forward to a GREAT school year! If you have any questions, please contact me.
