Welcome!  I am Ms. Cerny.  I have been a teacher at Faust School for a little over a decade and am excited to join Lincoln School this year!  I currently teach 5th grade English Language Arts.  I graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a K-8 teaching certification.   I also have a certificate in Special Education.   This summer, I just received my Master’s Degree in Reading and Literacy Specialization.   

 

Reading and writing are passions of mine and I love watching students fall in love with reading.  It is a great joy to learn about my students through their writing. 

 

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, swimming, yoga, going to shows on Broadway, and spending summers at the beach with family.
