Homework Policy

 

Homework is an important part of school, and provides essential practice of skills taught in the classroom.

 

Homework each night will consist of three items:

 

1. Math - Usually a worksheet that reinforces concepts taught that day.  
2. Reading - Reading Log due Friday
   
3. Spelling - Individual lists usually go home Monday and there is an assessment on Friday. Ten Sentences due Wednesday/ Extra Practice Page (EPP) due Thursday/ Study for Friday

 

                        *Occasionally a different assignment may be given.  

 

An Oops Sheet will be sent home if a homework assignment is missed. It should be signed and returned with the completed assignment the following school day. If missing homework becomes a pattern, we will call home to further discuss the situation.
