Lunch and Snack: 

 

Each student has a lunch card.  Any item that is purchased in the cafeteria requires a lunch card.   When sending in money for lunch, please place in a labeled sealed envelope or ziploc bag.   The menu can be accessed through our school's website.  Please remember to pack your child's snack in a separate container.  The cost of a student lunch is $3.50.  Milk is $0.60 and ice cream is $1.25.  

 

 

Early Dismissal/Delayed Opening: 

 

When the school has a shortened session, classes will be dismissed at 1:30pm. Your child will have lunch but will not have snack.  In the event of a delayed opening, school will begin at 11:00am.  Our school's website will indicate if the school is running on a two hour delay.

 

Birthday Celebrations:

 

On your child's birthday, he or she will participate in a short science lesson.  The student will hold a painted globe and rotate a yellow circle (to represent the sun).  Every time the Earth makes one complete rotation around the sun another year is completed.  Classmates will then have an opportunity to give the birthday child a special wish.
