Homework Policy

 

 

• Everyone begins the marking period with a grade of 100% or 100 points for homework.  Homework does not have to be 100% correct; it must be completed.

 

• With each missing homework assignment, the grade decreases by the portion of the total amount of assignments logged.  For example, if ten assignments were logged, the homework grade for one missing assignment is 90%.

 

• With each late homework assignment, the grade decreases by half the points of a missing homework assignment.  For example, with ten logged homework assignment, one late would be 95%.

 

• The overall homework grade is worth 10% of the marking period average.

 

• Sometimes homework will be collected and graded as a quiz. A missing homework assignment graded as a quiz will receive a 0%. A late homework assignment graded as a quiz receives a 10 point deduction.
