Covid Pandemic

In March twenty-twenty

It seemed a little funny

when Covid came to the USA.

And all the schools said Stay Away!

 

We thought it would be just days or weeks;

not months and months of Google Meets,

and staying with the family,

while everything was wait and see.

 

Some were sick.

Some passed away.

while waiting for a different day,

for all the kids to get to play.

 

No matter where you get to go,

how big you grow, or what you know;

soon this piece of history

will turn into a memory.
