Grading Policy:
We will have a minimum of 9 major grades each grading period including (1) bellringers, homework, and exit tickets averaged together, (2) all science stations averaged together, (3) all quizzes averaged together, (4) tests, and (5) projects. The RPSB grading scale will be followed.
(Note: All work turned in for a grade must have the student’s name and class period or 5 points will be deducted.)
Make-up Work:
Students that miss class will need to check Seesaw or Remind before returning to class. The day of return the student will need to check the absent bin to retrieve any handouts from the dates missed. Checking Seesaw and Remind is the responsibility of the student.
Make up tests will be administered at the convenience of the teacher. Make up tests will only be given before school, during lunch, or after school. Students will sign up to take make ups with the teacher. You may only reschedule once. Students have 1 week to take make up tests unless approved prior to that week by the teacher.
Bonus:
Students should not depend on bonus points. However, it is possible that bonus projects will be offered but will not be available to students that have not completed all previous assignments for the grading period.
Assignments are due as soon as they are assigned. Deadlines are firm and may not be extended. Homework is due in the inbox prior to the tardy bell.
