We have multiple pets in our Science Classroom.
Students will take turns being selected taking care of the animals.
Meet our pets!
We have a bearded dragon named Bella. Bella loves to eat crickets, grasshoppers, meal worms, however her favorite foods are peas and peaches. She likes to lay under her heat lamp most of the day but also enjoys being out and seeing what is going on. When Bella was received she was living in a 10 gallon tank, but now she is more comfortable in her 150 gallon tank. Why was she not happy in her 1o gallon tank? Here is our previous 50 gallon fish tank. We had our 3 axolots housed in this tank along with a clown pleco.
Difficult to see below, but helping to keep our tank clean is our large clown Plecostomus. Learn more about him here... http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=318

We had 3 axolotl's. Learn more about the axolotl and what it is here: http://www.axolotl.org/

Previous years we had a lot of other visitors. We hatched chicken eggs in the classroom and I hope to do it again this year.
