Spelling Connections is our word study program which aligns to the Common Core Standards for English Language Arts. Using this program, all students will receive instruction related to a 3rd grade spelling pattern. At the beginning of each unit, a pre-test will be given to determine which of three word lists each student will work on for that unit.   Each week, students will have the opportunity to apply the spelling patterns in reading, writing and phonics activities.  There will be a spelling quiz each Friday.
