Welcome Incoming 7th Grade Band Students and Families!

 

We can not wait to see you this year in band! There are so many great opportunities for you at BRMS. Your band directors are Dr. Udell and Mr. Caromano. It will be AWESOME!!

 

Feel free to click around our website to better understand what band is like at BRMS! Please see the welcome letter below that was shared home at the end of 6th grade.

 

As of right now, all you have to do is keep practicing your instrument for next year. If you are new to your instrument and need help renting, please email us! You can also check out the Instrument Rental tab on the left.

 

Here are items you will need for BRMS band.

 

• Students do not need a lesson book. The district will be providing these materials for all students in September.

 

• Percussionists - Please keep your Alfred Drum Method book from last school year. We will use this with our new lesson book!

 

• All students will need a black one inch binder with plastic sheet protectors. 25 sheets is a good start but if you are in multiple ensembles you will need more. This binder will be used for band only and will contain our music/important paperwork for the school year.
