Concert Dates and Events

 

The Bridgewater-Raritan Instrumental Music Program schedules events in advance to allow teachers, parents, and students to make plans ahead of time. All listed events are required for our 7th grade band, 8th grade band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band, unless otherwise noted. Please write these dates into your family calendar. Detailed information will be sent home before each event.

For your calendars, here are the proposed concert dates for BRMS band students. Please add these to your family calendars as soon as possible!

 

Friday, October 3 -	8th Grade Marching Band Evening @ BRHS (Eighth Grade Band only - Not required, but highly recommended!)
Tuesday, December 23 -	Winter School Assembly (during the school day) @ BRMS
Thursday, January 15 -	Winter Band Concert at 7pm @ BRMS
Thursday, March 26 -	Fine Arts Festival (Band Evening) at 7pm @ BRHS
Wednesday, May 13 -	Spring Band Concert at 7pm @ BRMS
Friday, June 5 -	Music In The Parks Trip (All day event @ Dorney Park) (Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble Only)
Friday, June 12 -	Spring School Assembly (during the school day) @ BRMS

 

 

Concert Dress-

All evening concerts, festivals, and in-school field trips require concert dress for performers. Concert dress must abide by school dress codes.

 

• Concert Dress is all black from head to toe for all students.
• Acceptable Examples:
• Black dress shirt, black trousers/slacks, black socks, and black shoes
• All black dress and black shoes
  
• Black top, black skirt, and black shoes
