- Actively participate in lesson.
- When leaving the classroom, make sure your area is clean. (Don't forget your phone!)
- If you are absent, get the missed notes from a classmate.
- The door will be closed right after the tardy bell rings, so if you are tardy: you will get
a warning for the first, but will need to go to Coach Campbell's office from there on
out.
Bellwork:
- Copy the bellwork completely from the board, unless told otherwise.
- Copy the explantion and answer from the board if you were unable to produce
the correct work and answer.
- If you miss a bellwork, it is your responsiblity to get the missed work into your
notebook. (Keep your work in chronological order, with date, and one day per page.)
- Every 9 Weeks, your bellwork notebook will be graded along with a bellwork test.
Working at the Boards:
- We will try to work on the dry-erase boards as much as possible.
- You need to get to your groups board quickly and quitely.
- You need to be a good group member: participate, contribute, and complement.
- DO NOT sit while we are at the boards.
Student Work:
- All assignments will be completed on loose leaf paper with your name, date, and
assignment name. If any of these three are missing, the assignment will not be
graded.
- If you missed an assignment, it needs to be completed before the correlating test is
given.
- Assignments will be completed in groups, in class, and at home.
- It is your responsibility to check Google Classroom for daily assignments.
Tests/Quizzes:
- We will have 3-5 tests per 9 weeks.
- Quizzes will be given when needed.
- If you missed a test, it needs to be completed as soon as possible. Your new test date
will be based on whether the absence is excused or not and the length of the absense.
- It is your responsibility to keep up with test dates. They will be posted on my website,
on the Week-at-a-Glance boards, and on Google Classroom.
- If you cheat on a test, it is an automatic F.
Communication:
- I will only communicate with you and your parents/guardians through REMIND and
emails. I will try to repsond in a timely manner. So if you don't join REMIND and miss
a message, it is your fault. If your parent needs to talk to me, they can send me a
REMIND and I can call them using REMIND.
ACT:
- Every 9 Weeks, I will give you points for giving me your ACT scores that are released
during that grading period - e.g. if your scores are release during the 1st 9 Weeks,
then your points will be added to your 1st 9 Weeks grade. The only exception is if
you took the ACT during the summer, then your points will be added to the 1st 9
Weeks.
- You will receive 50 points for taking the ACT. If your ACT Math scores improved from
your highest score, then I will replace the 50 points with 100 points. I will accept up
to two sets of scores in a 9 Weeks.
- I will only accept copies printed from the official ACT site, with your name visible, and
the scores for that test visible. I do not want Super Scores.
- I will not accept screenshots sent on REMIND or through emails.
- I will not accept anything from your parents, YOU need to hand me the physical copy of
YOUR scores.
