The following RULES are to be obeyed by every student.

  ~ RESPECT! You show respect and respect will be shown in return. Treat others as you would want to be treated.
  ~ Do not talk when the teacher is talking. Only one person should be speaking at a time. That way, everyone can hear what is being said!

       ~Any student being disrespectful and distracting to others will not be tolerated.
  ~ Do not criticize. Everyone deserves a fair chance to speak and express their opinions.

        ~ Do not plagiarize. Plagiarism is defined as "the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own" (Merriam-Webster). If you are caught plagiarizing, you will automatically fail the assignment. This includes misusing AI technology such as ChatGPT.

       ~ No cheating. No excuses. It will not be tolerated! If you are found cheating, it will result in a "0" as a grade.

      ~ Always be prepared.

      ~ If you are absent during an exam, you have 1 week to make up the exam. If you do not take the make up, you will receive a "0". It is your responsibility to come to me to receive the make-up exam. I will not chase you down the halls to remind you!
   ~ ALWAYS bring an open mind and a positive attitude. 

   ~ The use of cellphones is NOT PERMITTED unless stated otherwise. Cellphones will be collected at the beginning of class when required or at the teacher's discretion.
