Welcome to Basic Skills
If your child has been identified for the Basic Skills program, a letter of notification has been sent home in the mail. Along with the notification, there is a Parent/Teacher/Student compact that should be discussed with your child, signed, and returned to school. If you need another copy please contact the school and one will be sent home with your child.
Each year, Cape May City Elementary School Basic Skill Instructors hold a Title I, Basic Skills, Parent Information session. This year our presentation was held during our Basck To School Night. During this session, we discussed how students are identified, what programs students will be using this year, and answered any questions that families may have had about the program.
