Homework for week of May 6, 2019
Weekly Spelling Words: saw, draw, crawl, straw, law, jaw, paw, lawn, yawn, hawk
Monday- Day 3 - PE
- Spelling – Words with “aw”. P. 574
- Math Facts – Mixed Practice
Each night, time your child for 3 minutes. Upon completion of the sheet, check their answers and discuss any errors that they made.
- Fluency – Your child will be coming home with a sheet of words or a story. It will be the same sheet for a week. They are to read the words going across the rows or the stoy. Time them for one minute. Place a line where they stop each night after one minute. Return the sheet to school each day in the homework folder.
- AR Reading – Have your child read their AR book to you. Assist them as needed by helping them sound out. Sign the AR folder and return to school.
Tuesday- Day 4 – Technology
- Spelling – Words with “aw”. P. 581
- Math Facts – Mixed Practice
- Fluency –See under Monday for procedure.
- AR Reading – Have your child read their AR book to you. Assist them as needed by helping them sound out. Sign the AR folder and return to school.
Wednesday- Day 5 – PE
- Spelling – Words with “aw”. P. 583
- Math Facts – Mixed Practice
- Fluency – See under Monday for procedure
- AR Reading – Have your child read their AR book to you. Assist them as needed by helping them sound out. Sign the AR folder and return to school.
Thursday- Day 6 – Art
- Spelling – Write the spelling words two times each.
- Math Facts – Mixed Practice
- Fluency – See under Monday for procedure
- AR Reading – Have your child read their AR book to you. Assist them as needed by helping them sound out. Sign the AR folder and return to school.
Friday- Day 1 – PE
