SPELLING CITY
1. Go to www.spellingcity.com.
2. Click on the “Find a link” tab at the top of the page.
3. Fill in the bullet next to search for “teacher” and then underneath that, write “Shari Stewart” in the search box and click “search”.
4. On the next page, click on “Shari Stewart”.
5. On my homepage, scroll down until you come to “Spelling and Vocabulary list” on the left side of the page.
6. Click on the list for the designated week.
7. That will open up the spelling list, games, practice tests and other activities for your child to do.
PHONOGRAM/LETTER/SOUNGS/SIGHT WORDS
1. Go to http://curriculum.leeschools.net/words/words_main.htm
2. Here you will see a variety of pages that would be useful for your child to do at home. For example:
- Kindergarten word lists – Sight words
- Word Families – Rhyming
- Letter Recognition - naming capitol and lower case letters of the alphabet.
- Spalding DVD – Phonograms that the children learn in
school with the movements.

www.starfall.com -Fun, educational website which teaches letter names, sounds, word families, beginning reader stories and more independant stories.
Suessville
www.seussville.com- Fun website which features all the books of Dr. Seuss along with many learning activities and games.
ABCya
www.ABCya.com- This a levelized website with Math, reading and phonics games for kids to play and learn without even realizing it! :-)
