Monday, February 1, Vocabulary Unit 9 Quiz

Please have cellphones and earbuds are off and away during class. Ipads are for educational purposes only. It is important that you please come to class on time and prepared, and that includes Zoom. Please review Mr. Turkot's class procedures powerpoint on our 12CP webpage. Regarding homework, we tell you in class, it's on Oncourse and we write it on the class board. So, please complete all homework assignments. It's also advisable that you bring your iPad for pass use, but moreso, to keep your digital folder organized with homework and important dates. It's very important to please avoid zeros. Zeros really hurt your overall average. If you need help, we understand that, so please see us before, during or after school. I also recommend you think about your progress during each marking period, identify areas for improvement, and work in that direction. We are available if you would like to discuss your strategy. Remember, it is your responsibility, as will always be the case, to obtain missed assignments when you are absent. It is a good idea to have a study buddy and check our English Google Classroom page daily in the event of an absence. Let's have a great year. Thank you.

Touchstones, our discussion platform, is reserved for Fridays, however we will use Fridays to continue any work from Thursday if necessary.
