Hello!!!
Welcome to 5th grade! We hope you are enjoying these last few days of summer and finding lots of time to spend with your family and friends.
With the buzz of a new school year starting, you’re probably wondering what supplies you’ll need to be prepared for your fifth grade experience. To start you off, we will supply an assignment agenda, and you’ll be expected to record all your assignments in it daily. Our classrooms will be supplied with crayons, colored pencils, bottles of glue/sticks, and scissors for you to share. You may bring any of your own items (such as markers) labeled with your name if you prefer. The materials I am asking you to pick up minimal and can be found on my homepage.
Amazing Announcement!!! Thanks to your awesome FKPTA, your Flocktown teachers and your school principals, 5th Grade will have a chromebook for each 5th grader to use, everyday!!! This will change how we go about our daily routine...details to come!
Lastly, we will have a small snack each morning so bring a light, healthy snack with you. We eat at our desks and often do school work while we have our snack, so try to bring something that isn’t too complicated to eat.
Fifth grade is a lot of fun and you’ll be amazed by how much you’ll learn about the world and about yourself! Have a fantastic rest of your vacation. We look forward to seeing you soon!
