Dear FIRST Grader,

        Hello!  I am your first grade teacher, Mrs. Draghi.  I am SO excited to meet you very soon!  I can’t wait to get to know you.  We are going to have a fantastic first grade year together!

        I hope you have been enjoying your summer vacation with your family – I know I have!  My summer has been spent with Mr. Draghi and our three daughters at the beach, on the water (we love cruises!), and spending lots of little moments together.

        First grade is so much fun!  We will learn about community helpers, animals, fairy tales, and so much more!  On the first few days of school, we will spend a lot of time getting to know each other and learning about what makes each of our new classmates special.

        If you would like to meet me and see our classroom before school begins, you can visit me in our classroom (room 1004) on Wednesday, August 28 between 2:30-3:30pm.  You are welcome to bring your supplies on this day.  Don’t worry if you can’t make it – we will meet and get to know each other on the first day of school.  I can’t wait to meet you!
