SPECIAL EVENTS IN KINDERGARTEN
Friday, May 1 ~ Ocean Day: Dress like a beach goer!
Tuesday, May 5 ~ Early Dismissal Day at 12:43 & One Fine Day at SB
(Please apply sunscreen at home, have your child bring a towel to sit on and wear spring-colored clothes, cultural attire or their SB t-shirt.)
*Friday, May 29 ~ Field Day (More info to come on what students should wear & bring) Raindate is on June 5.
Thursday, June 4 ~ Kindergarten Celebration at 9:00
Due to limited space in our classrooms, we ask for up to 2 adults and no siblings, please. More information and an RSVP form will be sent home soon.
Please have your child wear their favorite shirt or outfit.

Health Guidelines for our District: Please do not send your child to school if they have:

A fever of 100.0 or more. Children must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicine before returning to school.

Vomiting/diarrhea. May return 24 hours after symptoms resolve and when tolerating regular diet

An infectious skin condition - For open or draining lesions, exposed areas must remain covered while at school. A physician’s note stating the condition is no longer contagious may be required by the school nurse in order for the student to return to school.

A continuous cough and/or runny nose if the cough is such that it interferes with their ability or the ability of others to concentrate on school work and the student cannot manage the runny nose.

Strep throat - Students may not return to school until fever free for 24 hours and at least 12 hours after antibiotic therapy has begun and student is able to participate in activities
