  1. Make a strong effort to log-in on time to class.

  2. Be aware of your appearance. No revealing

       or inappropriate/offensive clothing.

   3. Please refrain from eating during Meets.  

       Chomping/chewing can be distracting.

   4. You may ask questions in chat, but please

       keep all questions school appropriate and

       school related. 

   5. Do not be on your phone, watching tv, 

      playing video games...etc. Being attentive 

      during class meeting times is a must. 

   6. Be respectful to all meeting participants. 

 

Failure to follow Google Meet expectations may result in being dismissed from the meeting and may result in an office referral. 

 

 

 

 

Classroom Rules and Expectations

  1. Be ontime for class. Students will receive warnings for the first 2 latenesses, and a teacher detention at the time of the 3rd. Latenesses beyond 3, will result in an office write-up. (This includes latenesses coming back from lunch.)

  2. Come to class prepared. Students are expected to have a pen/pencil and notebook everyday, along with class novels when necessary.

  3. Cell phone use is not permitted. Students are expected to have all cell phones in their locker or bookbag during class instruction time. Students will be informed about rare occasions when cell phone use is allowed. Failure to follow this rule will result in detention, calls home, and/or student write-up.

  4. Be respectful of others. Bullying will not be tolerated. Please raise hand when asking a question or contributing to class discussion, and respect other people’s belongings.

  5. Listen quietly during instruction time. Students causing disruptions will face consequences accordingly.

  6. Clean up at the end of class. Recycle unwanted paper, dispose of trash in proper bins, return colored pencils, and return desk to proper location when necessary. Please take all your belongings with you at the end of class.

  7. Per school policy, no eating or drinking will be allowed in class without a nurse’s note.

  8. Do not pack up belongings before the final 5 minutes of the block.

  9. Stay seated until the bell rings for dismissal. Do not stand or wait at the door.

  10. Limit time out of class. Excessive lavatory/hallway passes may result in those privileges being revoked.

  11. Treat all school property with care. Do not write on bulletin boards, desktops, or textbooks, and take extra care of school computers. Students may be charged if their actions result in damage to supplies and electronics.

  12. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Students attempting to submit work that is not their own will not receive credit. Students who share their work with the intent of helping another student cheat will also not receive credit.
