Welcome Letter

Dear Sixth Graders, 

Welcome to 6th grade at Eisenhower School.  I hope you enjoyed the summer break and you are looking forward to the beginning of school.  Here are some suggested supplies to help you get off to a great start this year.  Those that are starred are especially important.

Suggested supplies:

ELA 

• one spiral notebook (a 2-3 subject notebook would be helpful)**
• one 1-inch binder  
• Independent Reading Book (Please have this the first week of school.)**

General Supplies

• soft pencil case 
• pencils/pens
• post-its
• highlighters
• folder(s)
• earbuds/headphones (important to bring to class every day)**

As mentioned, these are suggested.  If folders or a larger binder work better for you, those are fine also.  The most important thing to remember is to be prepared each day with your supplies.  And of course, don't forget your charged chromebook every day!
