Welcome to a new and exciting year in 6th grade!  I hope you enjoyed the summer with your family and friends.  I am looking forward to seeing each of you soon!

 

Suggested Supplies:  Please click on the Welcome Letter tab on the left for a supply list. (The list is a suggestion. You may substitute/add any other supplies that work for you.)

 

Important:  Within the first week of school please have an independent reading book (IRB) of your choice.  This can be a "real" book, or a digital book.  If you would like to download a free book, you can go to Epic Books for Kids at www.getepic.com.  My class code is: vxz0842

 

Important:  Some time in the first week of school, please bring in a photo of yourself smiling!  This can be an old school photo, a photo with your family or friends, or a photo of you by yourself.  Please bring in a copy that your parents won't mind giving you for the school year.  It is for a special bulletin board in Room 405!

 

Homework information:  

• Homework will be posted on the board daily.  Please make a habit of writing it down in your agenda as soon as you come into class.
• Homework will also be listed on my Oncourse page.  Just click on the left under "Homework and Events," and you will see the calendar come up, with that night's homework posted.
• If you forget a homework assignment, you will have 2 days to make it up for half credit.
