Grading

Grades are based on the following:

Video Projects                    50%

Tests and Quizzes              30%

Homework                          10%

Video Projects:  Students will be responsible for a number of video projects.  These will be graded on their effectiveness of representing a particular video technique.  This is the primary part of the grade, as it is the primary purpose of the class.

 

Tests and Quizzes: There will be a number of tests/quizzes throughout the course.  These tests/quizzes will primarily be on terms and materials learned in class.

 

Homework: There will aslo be worksheets to be completed during class or taken home in relation to clips watched.  Homework will include extra materials provided by the teacher.

 

Class Participation: Class participation is very important.  Students will be filming and editing in class, so they must participate equally in their groups or individual projects.  Participation in class discussions is one of hte most important aspects of Video Production.
