Required  Class Supplies  

 

 

 

     1) Loose-leaf paper & a two-pocket folder It is essential that you have a full supply of loose-leaf paper available for class at all times. This paper should be placed in the ELA section of your binder. You will also need a two-pocket folder for Vocabulary and Grammar materials.

2) A 1- subject or marble notebook: This journal will be housed in class for all reading responses.

 

3) Required books: It is important to bring current texts- core books, BCBs book club book), and/or IRBs to class daily. An IRB (independent reading book) will be due during the first few weeks of school. It should be a grade-level chapter book.

 

    4)  Pencils, pens, erasers, highlighters, and Post-it notes: Please bring a pencil to write daily.  We will utilize pens, highlighters, and Post-it notes for a variety of purposes such as locating important details, editing/proofreading, etc.

5)  Chromebook & charger:  Most of your writing assignments will be submitted on Google Classroom. Be sure to remember your Chromebook, charger, wired earbuds, and log-in information.

 

6) Agenda: Please bring your agenda to class daily. Homework assignments should be recorded before the end of class each day.
